"Let's go wallow!"

I love summer. I love wearing flip-flops. I love swimming. I love going sailing. Best of all I love summer holidays. One of my favorite places to go in the summer is Kalamalka Lake. I grew up as a daughter of two teachers, so when us kids has holidays, so did my parents. My dad's favorite place to take our family was Vernon. He grew up water skiing and swimming on this lake. So of course he wanted the same for us. My aunt bought a cabin on the lake approx 10 years ago. She so kindly has let us use it during the summers. Spending time with cousins, making fires, learning how to sail, wakeboard, ski and so much more!

The best part of this cabin is that every summer we find something else to do. This summer it had rained for about a week before I had shown up. So some our neighbors decided to find the biggest mud hole on the dirt road and rip through it again and again in their TRUCKS! After getting themselves stuck a few times they had a grand idea to "wallow" in the mud. So we got into our old bathing suits, in the boys case- their boxers and walked the 10 minute walk to the mud hole...here are the moments to remember. 

White Dress, No Mess, Graduation!

Wow, perfect day for graduating. Karly, my little sister finally made it. I always knew she would it was just a matter of time. She certainly was beautiful yesterday. She was able to get her hair, makeup done and a limo ride for free! She had to write an essay to a local hair salon in town and tell them why she deserved those things. She talked about how 4 years ago she shaved her head for her little brother who had cancer and just moved in her grad year. Luckily enough she won!
Anyways, her day was perfect, she went to a farm to get pictures done and had a limo full of boys.
